SMIYL Terms of Service

Welcome to SMIYL. We are committed to providing high-quality online tuition and cohort-based classes to support students studying Cambridge International (CIE) A Level Mathematics. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. By enrolling in any SMIYL program, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Enrollment and Access

1.1 Eligibility

SMIYL services are designed specifically for students enrolled in CIE A Level Mathematics. Only students who have completed the enrollment process and paid the applicable fees are eligible to access our tutoring sessions, cohort programs, and course materials.

1.2 Account Access

Some services may require you to create an account or access a learning platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity conducted under your account.

2. Class Schedules and Attendance

2.1 Class Timings

Class schedules, lesson dates, and timings are communicated during enrollment or on the relevant course pages. SMIYL reserves the right to make reasonable changes to schedules when necessary. Students will be informed of any changes in advance where possible.

2.2 Student Expectations

Students who disrupt lessons, or fail to engage appropriately may be removed from the program at SMIYL’s discretion.

3. Course Content and Delivery

3.1 Course Materials

All materials provided by SMIYL, including videos, worksheets, recordings, and other resources, are for personal educational use only. You may not share, distribute, reproduce, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written permission from SMIYL.

3.2 Content Updates

SMIYL may update, modify, or replace course content to ensure accuracy and alignment with the CIE A Level syllabus.

4. Payment and Refunds

4.1 Fees

All fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms provided at the time of enrollment. For cohort programs, fees may be charged on a monthly basis for the duration of the program unless stated otherwise.

4.2 Refund Policy

Due to the digital and live nature of our services, refunds are not offered once access to a program or course materials has been granted, except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Code of Conduct

5.1 Student Behaviour

Students are expected to behave respectfully during live sessions, in chat functions, and in any associated communities (such as WhatsApp groups). Disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

5.2 Communication Standards

Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate communication toward tutors or other students may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

6. Technical Requirements

6.1 Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for ensuring they have reliable internet access, a suitable device, and any required software (e.g. Zoom) to participate in online lessons.

6.2 Technical Support

If you experience technical issues related to access or content, please contact us at smiyl@gcealevelmaths9709.com. While we will do our best to assist, SMIYL is not responsible for issues caused by a student’s own equipment or internet connection.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership

All content provided by SMIYL, including videos, lesson recordings, documents, and teaching materials, remains the intellectual property of SMIYL and is protected by applicable copyright laws.

7.2 Restrictions

You may not copy, redistribute, record, resell, or create derivative works from SMIYL content without explicit written permission.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Personal Information

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This may include names, email addresses, and academic information required to deliver our services.

8.2 Data Security
